Description: Golden Performing ArtsCenter offers children ages 6-1/2 to 14+ the opportunity to perform in a Broadway-style musical production and to experience the camaraderie and excitement of belonging to a theatre family! In a nurturing environment of friendship, encouragement and Fun, campers enjoy a variety of activities including dance, vocal and acting training; theatre and improvisation games; arts & crafts; weekly Spirit Days; Talent show, skits, rapping, and more! Camp culminates with full-scale productions of a Broadway musical favorite complete with professional lighting, sound, sets and costumes, wherein young people play all the roles. No prior theatre or acting experience is required. The main concern, always, is to instill in each child feelings of personal worth, self-esteem and confidence, while exposing them to exhilarating feelings of success, belonging, pride and accomplishment.
Sessions: June 17 - July 26, Monday through Friday, 9am-3pm. Extended care is available from 7:45-9am and 3-6pm for an additional fee and may be used daily or as needed.
